Choir camp 2008 rocked man woots!
it was a memorable one. i am going to give you a recount AGAIn+++

Man velocit was fun man.... memoriesssssss
Day 1
arrived in school at 6.45am. my bone was aching but i was excited and anticipating.
Well long story cut short, we were briefed and we then proceeded to east coast park where we did some ice breaker games( introduction with favorite girls school) lols =D
Then came the exciting part, we were told to raft all the way from east coast to spartci camp if that is what it is called. we rafted and rafted only to see doom coming our way. Lightining! ahhhh we were out in the sea man, the open. Shit! luckily we had mr siow and the instructor, they used the speed boat and towed us. man it was an adventure man it started raining and the current was strong but victorians never give up so we preservered and SURVIVED. wooow.
Next up in the day we headed (on feet) all the way to jalan bethera campsite where we would spend the remaining two nights in singapore.
Following that was as follows
:kayaking
zipline
castle framework
night games. kopitiam,snakes and letters and human checkers.
the activities were so fun! =)
human checkers were like yugioh la so it was actually a little weird lol
Nighty night!
Day2
morning PT.
then rock climbing and general stations. through these activities, we learnt the value of teamwork and discovered the inner leadership skills within us.it was fun and deeply enjoyable to learn.
later we had castle framework which taught us ACtion. after consolidating, we take action. that is what we learned from mr siow.
Raining and more rain. so we rested, apart from a few of us( we watched a Japanese diving story lols)
when the rain stopped we proceeded to do the CRC challenge rope course. Gawps* =p
so much fun.
That night was the night of nights man. we had COMBAT SKIRMISH. WOOTS! it was something like CS except the game involved laser guns. it was so damn tooting fun ( adrenaline!) most of the kills were friendly fires though lols.( mr siow went to recharge life but when we just walked a few paces, Howard and me were like "enemy!!!!!" and started shooting like like siao hahaha! by the time we realised it was mr siow he was left with 4 lifes =p
( other interesting things that happened was that yong siang and howard were called murderers after killing a praying mantis with insect repellant lols@@@#
Day 3 ( leaving for mawaii) kawaii!
we packed and cleaned the area then proceeded to Mawaii eco camp!. on the bus we were spamming cheers like I ask my love and Titanic
when we arrived our first impression was like OMFG this is a jungle man! uncle sutari( the local orang asli introduced us to the area.) the whole campsite was built near the river and the MPH(multi purpose hall) was like above water. the whole place was built by orang asli. to cross to the campsite, we had to cross the river by boat. WOOts! Xperience man.
Later we had debriefing and had lunch. Food was better in Mawaii than in S'pore man. lols.
after which we had to go for swamp walk where we learnt jungle survival and different animal traps. i tio leech Ahh but i didn't feel any thing =)
we later had water obstacles. I LOST MY SPECS!!!! it was disastrous !
But ANUBIS for the win man. we won Ra in mud volleyball; lols ;p
later that night we prayed for rain together with the seniors( no water to bath XP), oh man that unforgettable experience! i would never forget it! Getting a little emo here XD
Day4 ( THe HikE)
rise and shining with a carpenter bee beside you was a shocking and amazing experience man. lols totally freaked out. later changed into clongdidas( special shoes for anti mud)<< i think>> X_X"
we later hiked gunung arong. the road up was generally smooth but very tiring. but
the descend was very very dangerous with steep corners at every corner. lols we had to hold on to ropes. watch out junior leaders of 2010! lols. after whih we walked on a beach with many small crabs. so cute!! they were everywhere man too bad no pics to show you all. =(
later that night we had our firefly cruise. mr sutari told us that there were haunted bunkers nearby ooos scary. well the fire flys were cool, we had a nice cruise la.
then we had the campfire where we did a skit. so hillarious TRACEY!! lolssss
WE then had our cheer which we rocked to the core ANUBIS!!
later we saw the senior leaders of 2009 having their emo moments. so emo@1
It was a great camp. we had learned much through this camp. we learned about teamwork, respect, bonding, sense of urgency. through this camp i bonded with the different cca leaders of VS. i becam a brother to them and they became one to me. That is what VS offers. Something more. Brothers forever. NIL sine labore.
Day 5 (the departure, the returning)
cleaned up and made for Home. Veloci-T has Indeed changed me. it would be engraved in my mind forever. crystallized. I learned that to be a good leader, we must first be a good follower first. Gain the respect of your peers and juniors.
This camp has been a fun and memorable one. NIl sine labore, well said, through hard work, i earned the right to be junior leader. VS is my priority . I will strive to keep her flag unfurled.
